Take two at the European Researchers Night in Kiel
As in 2017, SYSCID was presented at this year’s European Researchers Night in Kiel. In her talk Neha Mishra from the Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology (UKSH) presented the advantages of personalized medicine in chronic inflammatory diseases and shed a light on the opportunities and also challenges of an ambitious international collaborative research project. Once again it was a great opportunity to share the project aims and approach with a larger audience, reaching out not only to the scientific community but to a wider public of interested citizens.
The Researchers’ Night in Kiel is part of the “European Researchers’ Night” which has been held across Europe since 2005. On the last Friday in September, visitors are invited to take a look behind the scenes, carry out hand-on experiments and learn more about the importance of research for our everyday life. The first two Researchers’ Nights in Kiel were an overwhelming success with more than 23,000 visitors.
