SYSCID partners at the 2018 Digestive Disease Week

The Digestive Disease Week (DDW) is the largest meeting for the gastro intestinal profession and took place from June 2-5, 2018 in Washington DC. Every year the conference attracts approximately 15,000 physicians, researchers and academics from around the world and includes more than 5,000 lectures, poster presentations and oral abstracts as well as almost 300 exhibitors presenting the newest technology innovations. Next to the more than 400 sessions, networking events provide the chance to meet fellow specialists from all over the world.

With the whole gastro intestinal profession flying to Washington, naturally the SYSCID partners were not far. Next to Philip Rosenstiel many other partners participated. Special congratulations go out to Doris Vandeputte, who was awarded this year’s Ken Heaton award for most cited paper on functional gastrointestinal and motility disorders.
