Calimera! SYSCIDs 1st Progress Meeting in Crete
After last year’s snow in Kiel, this year the consortium made sure to move south to catch some sun and provide extra energy for the 1st SYSCID progress meeting.
In the two days, the partners presented the work progress in all 13 work packages and got together in breakout sessions to discuss key issues and fix the schedule for the upcoming year. The face to face meeting gave especially the young researchers involved the chance to reflect on their work, receive advice and find solutions for challenges they face.
Strengthening the ties between the groups during the scientific sessions but also during the social parts of the meeting, a big thank you goes to our Greek partners from BRFAA and the University of Crete who showed us a perfect example of Greek hospitality.
We also thank Elin Grundberg for joining the meeting as advisory board member and for sharing her experience.
