2nd SYSCID progress meeting in Croatia

From April 3rd to 5th the SYSCID group travelled east to gather for this year’s annual meeting in Dubrovnik. Kicking off the meeting the partners split into two workshops dedicated to the curation of disease maps and methylation analysis. During the following days all WP leaders presented the progress in their field. Discussions were pursued in special break-out sessions substantiating the work in key areas such as single cell analysis and the different disease cohorts.

Joining us was Dirk Hadrich from the European Commission who has been supporting our project from the beginning.

Altogether this was again a very fruitful meeting at an important project phase where the ground work has been laid and we are progressing towards the achievement our scientific goals.

Special thanks go to our Croatian partners from Genos and University of Zagreb who organized the venue as well as a tour providing us with some historic background of Dubrovnik’s old town.
