Get ready for e:Med 2018 in Berlin!

By the time we all return from our well-deserved summer vacation, the 5th e:Med Meeting on systems medicine is just around the corner. Taking place from September 24-26, 2018 at the Urania in Berlin, the program comprises sessions on technologies, modelling and translational approaches in systems medicine as well as systems medicine of diseases. Next to keynote lectures of high level speakers such as Sui Huang from the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle, Angelika Eggert from Charité Berlin, John Quackenbush from Harvard University and many more the conference will include inspiring poster flash talks followed by poster discussions. In the evenings participants will have the opportunity to mingle and establish new contacts during multiple social events.

For the general public, the doors open in the morning on September 24th for the science event "Tag der personalisierten Medizin", where lectures, experiments and public tours are dedicated to interested pupils and students.

e:Med is a nationwide research and funding concept supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since 2014 and has the objective of promoting system-oriented research of diseases by linking life sciences and informatics and establishing a systems medicine network in Germany.
